Norton Museum of Art -  European Art

The Norton Museum of Art's collection of European art includes excellent examples by artists such as Lucas Cranach the Elder, Joos van Cleve the Elder, Giovanni Bezzi (called Il Nosadella), Valerio Castello, Luca Giordano, and Alessandro Magnasco.

Worthy of special notice are the Flemish paintings of the early 17th century by contemporaries and pupils of Peter Paul Rubens, such as Anthony van Dyck, and a fine group of 18th- and early 19th-century British portraits by artists such as Joshua Reynolds, George Romney, Henry Raeburn, and Thomas Lawrence.
