What is a docent?

A docent is a volunteer Museum educator who engages visitors in discussions about art. Leading tours through our extraordinary permanent collection, beautiful sculpture garden, and fantastic special exhibitions, our docents welcome thousands of visitors of all ages each year.

Applicants who meet our qualifications will engage in group and individual interviews beginning May 2024. Once candidates are selected, our extensive training program will begin September of 2024.
