First Fridays of the Month, 7:30 pm / Jazz Fridays
This popular monthly series features performances by some of South Florida’s best jazz musicians!

Third Fridays of the Month, 8 pm  / Artist Tour
South Florida-based artists lead informal, 30-minute gallery talks about works in the Norton’s collection and special exhibitions.

Art After Dark / Lunar New Year Kickoff!

It’s almost time for the Lunar New Year festival! Before the FREE Lunar New Year Community Day on Saturday, January 21, enjoy an evening of tours, art-making activities, and live music to begin the weekend’s celebrations.

  • Open Studio

    Create your own work of art in celebration of the upcoming Year of the Rabbit with guest teaching artist, Sarah E. Huang.

    For all ages and experience levels.

    All materials are included.

    About Sarah E. Huang

    Sarah E. Huang is a Taiwanese-American visual artist based in Delray Beach, Florida. Huang has exhibited her evocative paintings, drawings, and installations locally, nationally, an internationally over the last decade.

  • Guías in the Galleries

    The Guía Program is a dual-language school partnership with International Spanish Academy students from John I. Leonard High School. In a humanities class led by Norton staff divided between the classroom and the Museum, these thirteen teens also acquire skills to interact with all types of visitors at the Museum and how to start conversations about art in the galleries. Engage with the Guías in English and Spanish in the High Fashion & Street Style exhibition every Friday of the show’s run!

  • Live Music / Min Xiao-Fen and Rez Abbasi

    Min Xiao-Fen and Rez Abbasi perform original work, including White Lotus, Min Xiao-Fen’s original score for the Chinese silent film The Goddess (1934). Min Xiao-Fen seeks to transcend cultural and artistic boundaries, create an innovative score rich with soulful musical expression, and provide an opportunity for a wider audience to view The Goddess and learn about Chinese history and culture. The movie will be shown concurrently during the concert.

Attending Art After Dark

Hours: The museum is currently open to the public until 10 pm on Friday nights.

Entry: Admission during Art After Dark is $10 for Adults & Seniors, $5 for Students. Free for Members. Tickets may be purchased at the Reception Desk or reserved in advance

Parking: Parking is available in the Norton’s main parking lot at 1501 South Dixie Highway, immediately across the street from the Museum. Parking is $6 per car, per day. Norton Members park for free.

Food and drink: The Restaurant at the Norton offers indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views of our Sculpture Garden. Along with great food, The Restaurant serves creative cocktails, wine, and champagne. Reservations available through Tock.
