Open Studio
Join Guest Teaching Artist Sarah E Huagn to learn about the vibrantly painted sculptures of Phyllida Barlow! This activity uses paper, markers, and cardboard boxes to make small and colorful constructions inspired by the artist.
Phyllida Barlow is one of our 2024 Women's Walk inductees. Barlow took inspiration from her surroundings to create imposing installations that can be at once menacing and playful. To learn more about her work and all of the women inducted into the Women's Walk this year, please click here.

Piano concert with BAK Middle School of the Arts
Enjoy piano pieces played by student from Bak Middle School for the Arts. In honor of Women’s History Month, students will share works by women composers like Amy Beach, Cécile Chaminade, Florence Price, and others.
Bak Middle School of the Arts is a magnet school known for excellence in the Arts. BAKMSOA students have performed in festivals such as Music by Women and conferences such as MTNA and for the FMEA annual conference. Students are taught by Estibaliz Gastesi Latorre.

Orchestra concert with North Palm Beach Youth Symphony
The North Palm Youth Symphony is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission of providing students access to a world-class string and orchestral education. Through its outreach, the North Palm Youth Symphony serves over 120 students from 35 different schools who do not have access to string education in their schools. The North Palm Youth Symphony actively seeks new families looking for a high quality string education, community members who can financially support its mission, and a commercial space suitable to our growing needs. They are led by Artistic Director Victor Fernandez.
Victor Fernandez is a distinguished and highly awarded veteran educator with 15 years of orchestral teaching experience in the Florida public School classrooms. With Master's degrees in Music Education and Educational Leadership, he is uniquely positioned to serve as artistic and executive director of the North Palm Youth Symphony, in which he serves both executive and teaching roles. He has conducted All County festivals throughout the state of Florida, served on the Florida Music Education Association and Florida Orchestra boards, and brings an unparalleled degree of professionalism, expertise and passion to his craft.
