Lecture / Exhibiting Forgiveness with Titus Kaphar
Join filmmaker and artist Titus Kaphar and Arden Sherman, Glenn W. and Cornelia T. Bailey Senior Curator of Contemporary Art, for a conversation about his debut film Exhibiting Forgiveness, his creative process in painting, sculpture, installations, and now film. The lecture will be followed by a screening of the film.

Music / Ariana Jemison
Ariana Jemison, a 17-year-old singer/songwriter hailing from Fort Pierce, Florida, has been captivating audiences with her soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics since her early days in church. Growing up in a small town, Ariana's unwavering dream of becoming a musician has always set her apart. Her latest EP, ANA, is a poignant reflection of her personal journey through loss, anxiety, growing up, and self-esteem. Ariana's music is a testament to the power of vulnerability, offering listeners a raw and authentic glimpse into her soul. Her mission is to create art that is not only genuine and honest but also makes her audience think, feel seen, feel understood, and crave more.
