Join Guest Teaching Artist Sarah E Huang and explore the themes in Strike Fast Dance lightly: Artists in Boxing. Using collaged fabrics, beads, string, and more, participants will create their own Fight Label that expresses who they are. Boxing Shorts are known for having their logos strategically placed on the front; these garments have become a symbol of power, athleticism, identity, and glamour. With those themes in mind, what would your Fight Label say about you? These DIY "patches" can be sewn on your favorite garment at home or framed.
