It’s College Night at the Norton! Show us your Student ID to receive free Museum admission. 

Join us for an Open Mic session, live music by Clean Cut featuring an eclectic rhythm that merges funk, soul, and R&B, a book binding art-making activity, and close out the evening with a silent disco party! Stop by the Open Studio, Open Mic, and Silent Disco to enter in our raffle to win a Student Membership!

  • Open Studio / DIY Book Binding Techniques

    Are you an artist in the search of the PERFECT sketchbook? Join Ari Kijanka, one of Norton’s teaching artists, who will be demonstrating how to make your own sketchbook using different book binding techniques..


    About the Artist: Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Teaching Artist Ari Kijanka has been creating a range of works for the last decade and a half. Primarily an oil painter and printmaker, Ari received their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting & Art History from the University of North Florida. They draw inspiration from events from their life, the world around them, and from prominent or interesting periods in human history. Their works have been featured in the Figure 8 Gallery and Museum of Contemporary Art in Jacksonville, as well as been published in the Talon Review.

    Stop by the Norton’s hidden treasure, The Courtyard, to enjoy the local talent. The Sailfish Review, Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Creative Writing Club and other local writers will be performing their beautiful spoken words.

  • Live Music / Clean Cut Band

    Clean Cut is an emerging four-piece band from Miami, FL whose eclectic rhythm merges Funk, Hip-Hop, RnB, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Latin, Reggae, Dancehall and more... They have performed at Miami’s Design District and other local venues. The young and talented musicians are: Kalil Bohannon (drums), Sebastian Holmes (bass), Sebastian Guerrero (keyboard), and Giacomo Bacigalupo (electric guitar). Tune in and enjoy their new songs!   • Silent Disco

    The night will end with a groovy Silent Disco Party! Each headphone offers three different stations. One station will take you through the 80’s to the 00’s, experiencing a mash up of decades. The other one will feature Latin rhythm so you can DANCE salsa, bachata, reggaetón and merengue. And the last one is all about today’s top hits and POP rising artists.

Attending Art After Dark

Hours: The museum is currently open to the public until 10 pm on Friday nights.

Entry: Admission during Art After Dark is $10 for Adults & Seniors, $5 for Students. Tickets may be purchased at the Reception Desk or reserved in advance

Parking: Parking is available in the Norton’s main parking lot at 1501 South Dixie Highway, immediately across the street from the Museum. Parking is $6 per car, per day. Norton Members park for free.

Food and drink: The Restaurant at the Norton offers indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views of our Sculpture Garden. Along with great food, The Restaurant serves creative cocktails, wine, and champagne. Reservations available through Tock.
