Mixed Media Fashion Illustration
Artist Jennifer Love Gironda leads a fashion illustration workshop using collage and watercolor techniques to guide participants in creating their own exciting designs.
About the Artist
Jennifer studied art at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC where she obtained my BFA and MAEd degrees. A National Board-Certified Teacher licensed to teach art in NC and FL, she has taught art in various grade levels, K-12 for over ten years. Live Music / Gloria Waldman Swing!
Join Gloria Waldman for a set that includes jazz standards by Fats Waller and Andy Rafaf (Ain't Misbehavin', Honeysuckle Rose) , Duke Ellington ( I Got It Bad and That Aint Good), Erroll Garner (Misty) as well as American Standards by Cy Coleman, Jerome Kern, Jimmy Mc Hugh, and Academy Award winning lyricist Dorothy Fields (Big Spender, Exactly Like You, Don't Blame Me , The Way You Look Tonight) and a Latin set ( Bésame Mucho, Somos Novios/ It's Impossible, What a Difference a Day Makes/ Cuando vuelva a tu lado).
Gloria Waldman has performed in New York City at venues including the iconic Cotton Club and the Friars Club. Her Gloria Waldman Swing Combo band members have accompanied legends Tony Bennett, Cab Calloway, Della Reese, Keely Smith, Eartha Kitt, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme, Kenny Rogers, Bernadette Peters, Melba Moore, Neil Sedaka, Joni Mitchell and played with the Duke Ellington, Buddy Rich, Woody Herman and David Letterman orchestras.

Attending Art After Dark
Hours: The museum is currently open to the public until 10 pm on Friday nights.
Entry: Admission during Art After Dark is $10 for Adults & Seniors, $5 for Students. Free for Members. Tickets may be purchased at the Reception Desk or reserved in advance.

Parking: Parking is available in the Norton’s main parking lot at 1501 South Dixie Highway, immediately across the street from the Museum. Parking is $6 per car, per day. Norton Members park for free.
Food and drink: The Restaurant at the Norton offers indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views of our Sculpture Garden. Along with great food, The Restaurant serves creative cocktails, wine, and champagne. Reservations available through Tock.
