CURATOR CONVERSATION/ Where Dragons Dwell
Elizabeth B McGraw Senior Curator of Chinese Art Laurie Barnes
Laurie Barnes, Elizabeth B. McGraw Senior Curator of Chinese Art, leads a discussion on two garments, a hanging scroll, and a Scholar’s Rock that showcase the various dragon designs worn and collected by the wealthy elite in China and Japan.

Live Music / Otto Santana Trio
The Otto Santana Trio will play a tribute to Cuban percussion celebrating different styles from the Danzon to Latin jazz. He will be joined by Pianist Livan Mesa, Bassist Lino Piquero, and special guest singer Alba Maria.
Otto Santana is a Grammy nominated Cuban percussionist based in Miami. He has performed internationally in Japan, Germany, Spain, France, China, Canada, South Korea, Chile, Puerto Rico, Venezuela as well as domestically at the Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center sharing the stage with artists such as Cesar Lopez, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Habana Sax, Amadito Valdés, Jorge Luis Pacheco, Isaac Delgado, and Jose Maria Vitier.
