Over the course of her career, she has held various academic and professional positions, including visiting professor, sabbatical replacement, adjunct faculty, studio assistant/technician, artist-in-residence, and visiting workshop instructor at arts and crafts institutions both in the U.S. and internationally, including The Center for Enamel Art, Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts, the Society of Florida Goldsmiths, and The Textile Support Group (Pavia, Italy/Wollongong, Australia).

In 2013, Alicia Jane was honored with an invitation to assist and exhibit her work at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Ratti Textile Center, coinciding with the exhibition Gems of European Lace (1600-1920). That same year, she was invited by the Textile Support Organization in Pavia, Italy, to lecture and teach a workshop, further expanding her international reach. Her participation in events such as the SIERAAD International Jewelry Fair in Amsterdam (2013) and Art Basel/Miami at Aqua (2018) has also contributed to her presence globally.

Alicia Jane also juried and co-coordinated the 2022 national and international jewelry exhibition Verdant Bodies at the Armory Art Center, allowing her to contribute her curatorial expertise in the contemporary jewelry field.

Her work is featured in numerous public and private collections, including the Enamel Arts Foundation (Los Angeles, CA), The Lace Museum (Sunnyvale, CA), Yale University Art Museum, the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, the Crocker Art Museum, and the Mint Museum in Charlotte, NC.

Currently based in West Palm Beach, Florida, Alicia Jane serves as the Jewelry & Metalsmithing Department Manager at the Armory Art Center. She continues to dedicate herself to her studio practice, creating one-of-a-kind pieces, commissions, and limited production works.

Support for this program was provided by the Maurer Family Fund for Arts Education Endowment. Art with the Armory was made possible in partnership with the Armory Art Center.
