Family Autism Art Workshop

Join us at the Norton Museum of Art on Sunday, April 6 for an accessible art workshop for the entire family! This program will feature interactive time in the gallery and art-making in the classroom. All participating staff members are trained to lead programs for people with autism.
In this program, families will:
• Take an interactive walk through the Abstract Expressionism Collection.
• Make art inspired by works from the Museum.
• Explore sensory-friendly art materials including tempera paint.
• Receive FREE admission to the Museum.
• Access accommodations including a social narrative (Social Story™), headphones, fidgets, quiet areas, accessible art materials, and timers.
Grades K-6, 1 pm program:

Please book according to the grade of the student with autism. Siblings of any age are welcome to join.
