Mindful Moments

Mindful Moments is a monthly program led by Jodi Sypher, MS. Ed., that includes both a traditional guided mindfulness practice and a focused-attention mindfulness exercise using a work of art. The guided practice consists of a 1-hour experience where participants are led in a 40-minute guided, slow-looking exercise, focused on a work of art, followed by 10 minutes for reflection and questions with the session leader. After the reflection period, a 10-minute discussion about the artist and the work of art used are shared with the group. The goal of this program is to connect art and wellness through guided mindfulness practice.
Benefits to the workshops include:
• Learning to practice mindfulness using a work of art.
• Building a community and feeling of connection.
• Relieving stress through art.
• Live guided sessions with reflection and Q&A.
• Discovery of art from diverse artists, places, and times.
