This family festival celebrates Games Around the World with renowned local DJ and MC for the day Marlon Foster, a kite-making workshop led by teaching artist Jose Mendez, revolutionary storytelling with Rohi's Readery, and Chess sessions presented by Palm Beach Chess. The South Florida Pétanque Club invites you to try this game, and you can play giant garden games, take garden tours celebrating the Museum’s collection, or stay inside, keep cool, and try the Norton Art+ augmented reality program.
The Restaurant will offer food and beverages for sale throughout the day.
How to Attend
This festival is free with Museum admission. Museum admission is free for residents of Palm Beach County with proof of residency. Currently, the Norton is offering timed ticket entry. For more information and to reserve a timed ticket, click here.
Please stay home if you have any symptoms of coronavirus. All guests are required to wear masks inside to enjoy all activities by maintaining six feet separation in the galleries and outdoors.

Learn and Play Chess / Central Courtyard
Palm Beach Chess coaches will be available to teach chess and introduce more experienced players to the finer points of the game. Space is limited and registration is required.

Giant Garden Games / Gormley Lawn
Kids and adults alike will enjoy playing gigantic versions of Connect Four and Jenga on the Museum’s Lawn. You can also try an outdoor xylophone to show off your inner musician and compose your own tune!

Come join a Revolutionary Storytime with a charming book called The Hula Hooping Queen by Thelma Godin with vibrant illustrations by Vanessa Brantley-Newton. This book is a celebration of family and community ties. Set in Harlem, this intergenerational story shows the importance of staying young at heart.

Have you ever wanted to play against a chess master? Three-time state champion and National Master Bryan Tillis will play a simultaneous exhibition match against multiple players at once. Space is limited and registration is required.
