Bidding opens Friday, January 24, 2025

Bidding closes Monday, February 3, 4 pm ET

Overview

The Norton Museum of Art’s 2025 Gala Auction includes more than 40 exceptional works of art by pre-eminent artists from some of the world’s leading galleries. Most lots are available exclusively online. Five lots will be auctioned live at the Norton Museum of Art’s Gala on February 1, 2025.

Auction proceeds benefit the Norton’s curatorial, learning, and community engagement programs. Please note the online auction has a 10% buyer’s premium, which will be added to the final hammer price of each sold work. The premium allows the Norton Museum or Art to retain more of the proceeds of the sale and offset administrative costs. There is no Buyer’s Premium for the Feb. 1 Live Auction. Auction proceeds benefit the Norton's curatorial, learning, and community engagement programs.

Viewing at the Norton

In addition to being available to browse online on Sothebys.com, auction works are on view at the Norton Museum of Art in person from Friday, January 17 through Monday, February 3.
