Celebrate Women’s History Month at the Norton! View the Women’s Walk of great women artists through history on Cranesnest Way. Enjoy live music, performances, and access the smartphone tour to view the five new names recently added to the 50 currently featured on the Walk.

Women's Walk Weekend

Bike, Art + Beer

Thursday, March 17 / 6-8 PM

Highlighting public WPB artworks created by women. Juan Orellana from UpCycle will lead the tour that concludes at a local brewery. Register online, grab your bike, and meet up in Heyman Plaza at Museum entrance. FREE!

The Art Wellness Exchange: Redefining Your Wellness Journey with Hand Made Dreams

Saturday, March 19 / 10-11:30 AM   

Allow art to help you relax and recharge during this special wellness-focused workshop. This 90-minute session takes place in the Museum galleries and utilizes the arts and social interaction to promote mental wellness and community connections.

Music by Women Composers: Pioneers to the Present

Saturday, March 19 / 2PM
Award-winning pianist Yoko Sata Kothari returns to the Norton for a very special concert featuring music composed by women, including works by Clara Schumann and Fanny Mendelssohn, African American spirituals by Florence Price, ragtime by Muriel Pollock and others.

Women's Walk Community Day

Saturday, March 19 / 12-5PM

Performance by Esmé Patterson (12:30PM), panel discussion (1PM) and beer tasting (2-4PM) in collaboration with FemAle Brew Fest, drop-in artmaking activities, a Norton Store pop-up, fun games in the garden, and much more!

FREE Museum admission during the week

Guests 18 and under along with their accompanying adults enjoy free museum admission Mon-Fri that includes creative drop-in art activities, kid-friendly tours, galleries full of amazing art and a semi-tropical garden where the exhibitions continue with works of sculpture.
